Your role?

CONVERSATION STRATEGIST @SAYS.COM – Advertising in the age of social media.
  • To help brands connect better with consumers via conversation ecosystems, conversation planning, owned media, and effective tactical engagement via social media.
  • To use and pioneer social media advertising and other SAYS.com products.
  • To research and develop expertise in practical brand engagement using the friend stream.
Day to day work includes
  • 60% – Conversation strategy / Viral triggers/ Craft proposals and pitches
  • 20% – Product Advocacy – Presenting to media planners / training on social media conversation strategy
  • 10% – Pitch big social media campaigns
  • 10% – We’ll figure out as we power forward. This is a very new space with groundwork to do
You will be assisted by the sales and project management teams, and working directly with the Head of Strategy. Your first 3 months will be COMPLETE IMMERSION so as long as you learn fast you’ll be fine.

  • Whole-brained people: Both creative and incisive. Fluent with words as well as numbers. Emotions + logic.
  • Booksmart and streetsmart: Gets great grades in school, and gets along with all kinds of people, too.
  • Proven intimacy with social media: Just send us your Facebook, Twitter or blog, and we’ll know.
  • Experience with the world of advertising and media: At least an internship or basic experience of sorts in a media, creative, or client-side marketing team. We’ll need someone who can hit the ground running!
  • Consumer insight: Someone who can ‘feel’, ‘emphatize’, and relate to consumer segments. Hint: We’re also looking for a Malay speaking Malay person, as well as a Chinese speaking Chinese.
